This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data that VILAVI INT LTD (hereinafter referred to as "VILAVI" ) may collect about a user (representative) during the use of the website https://store.vilavi.com/ in the context of implementing the Representative Agreement .


1. Definitions

1.1. Website Administration – authorized employees responsible for managing the VILAVI website, acting on behalf of the company. These individuals organize and carry out the processing of personal data and define the purposes, scope, and actions related to such processing.

1.2. Personal Data – any information relating directly or indirectly to an identified or identifiable natural person (a data subject).

1.3. Processing of Personal Data – any action (operation) or set of actions performed with personal data, whether automated or manual, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, updating, retrieval, use, transmission (distribution, disclosure, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, or destruction of personal data.

1.4. Confidentiality of Personal Data – the obligation of the data operator or any other person who has accessed the data to refrain from disclosing the data without the data subject's consent or another legal basis.

1.5. Website User (User) – any person who has access to the VILAVI website via the Internet and uses the website.


2. General Provisions

3.2. The personal data processed under this Privacy Policy are voluntarily provided by the User through the registration form on the VILAVI website and include the following:

  • Full name (first name, last name, patronymic)
  • Contact phone number
  • Email address
  • Delivery address
  • Purchase history of VILAVI products and related services
  • History of interactions and communications with VILAVI
  • Other data at the User's discretion

3.3. VILAVI also protects data automatically transmitted during browsing, such as IP address, browser type, and access time.

3.4. All personal information is securely stored and not disclosed, except as provided in Section 5.2 of this Privacy Policy.


4. Purposes of Collecting Personal Data

4.1. VILAVI may use the User’s personal data for the following purposes:

  • Identification of registered Users
  • Granting access to website resources
  • Establishing communication with the User (including sending notifications, requests related to website use and remote product sales), and processing inquiries and applications
  • Verifying the accuracy and completeness of the User’s personal data
  • Creating a user account (if necessary)
  • Providing effective customer and technical support
  • Sending updated information with the User’s consent
  • Providing information about marketing events
  • Managing interactions in the User’s (Representative’s) Personal Account
  • Conducting marketing activities with the User’s consent

5. Methods and Duration of Personal Data Processing

5.1. Personal data may be processed without time limitations, using any lawful method, including via automated systems or manually.

5.2. Personal data may be disclosed to authorized government bodies only in accordance with the laws of Cyprus.

5.3. In the event of loss or unauthorized disclosure of personal data, the Website Administration will inform the User.

5.4. The Website Administration takes all necessary organizational and technical measures to protect personal data from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, distribution, or other unlawful actions by third parties.

5.5. The Website Administration works with the User to prevent losses or other negative consequences caused by the loss or unauthorized disclosure of personal data.


6. Obligations of the Parties

6.1. The User is obligated to:

  • Provide personal data required for using the VILAVI website
  • Update and supplement their personal data in case of any changes

6.2. The Website Administration is obligated to:

  • Use the collected information only for the purposes outlined in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy
  • Keep the information confidential and not disclose it without the User’s prior written consent, except as provided in Section 5.2
  • Take precautions to protect the User’s personal data in accordance with standard business practices
  • Block the User’s personal data upon request from the User, their legal representative, or an authorized data protection authority during the verification process in case of inaccurate data or unlawful actions

7. Liability of the Parties

7.1. The Website Administration shall be liable for damages caused to the User due to unlawful use of personal data in accordance with EU legislation, except in cases outlined in Section 5.2.

7.2. The Website Administration shall not be held liable for loss or unauthorized disclosure of confidential information if:

  • The information was already publicly available
  • The information was obtained from a third party before being received by the Website Administration
  • The information was disclosed with the User’s consent

8. Cookies

8.1. VILAVI may use cookies on its website. Cookies allow web servers to send data to a user's computer for storage and other purposes. 9. Dispute Resolution

9.1. Before filing a lawsuit for disputes arising from the use of the VILAVI website, the User must submit a written claim (a proposal for voluntary dispute resolution).

9.2. The recipient of the claim must respond in writing within 30 calendar days.

9.3. If no resolution is reached, the dispute will be submitted to the competent court in accordance with the laws of Cyprus.

9.4. This Privacy Policy and the relationship between the User and the Website Administration are governed by the laws of Cyprus.


10. Additional Provisions

10.1. The Website Administration may amend this Privacy Policy without the User’s consent and will notify Users via email.

10.2. A new version of the Privacy Policy comes into effect upon publication on the VILAVI website unless otherwise specified in the new version.
